CityScapes

CityScapes are a way of finding interesting subjects in mundane everyday objects. We were specifically looking for circles, squares, combination shots, and triangles. While we were shooting we tried to find buildings, bus stops and other familiar things and take them down to the most basic shapes. Instead of looking at the subject as a whole, we tried to see things in shapes.

Here are pictures of circles.

  1. All these images reveal shapes of different contrasts and exposures out of everyday needs. I really like the image of the traffic light because it shows the idea of circular shapes, but i also like the way you captured the lighting and the angle. I believe that all your images are successful.

  2. All of your images were well-shot. I like how you edited them and captured all fo the different shapes through unsuspecting things. I really liked the close up of the mattress. good job!

  3. I really like the second pic. the way you took it from a different angel, it makes you think of what it is and then you realize that its a lap hanging from a ceiling. Good Job!!
