Combination Photos(Depth)

Depth

The idea of this project was to create an element of depth in all of our pictures. We were trying to get farther away from the idea of a flat scene. We created depth through repetition, foreground and background shots, and leading lines. We also had a category of combination shots. We looked around the Drew community to find shapes and scenes that we would use to create depth, and to really bring the picture to life.

Here are some examples of combination shots.

Squares and Rectangles

Combination Shots

CityScapes

CityScapes are a way of finding interesting subjects in mundane everyday objects. We were specifically looking for circles, squares, combination shots, and triangles. While we were shooting we tried to find buildings, bus stops and other familiar things and take them down to the most basic shapes. Instead of looking at the subject as a whole, we tried to see things in shapes.

Here are pictures of circles.
